BioEASI has been working with the Preuss School at UCSD to run workshops for their 8th grade Girls in STEAM club. This outreach combines fun “lab” activities with interactive lessons and will provide opportunities for the students to learn about the important roles of women in science! Ten BioEASI volunteers gave guest lectures to five classes at a charter school in downtown San Diego called E3 Civic High School.
