Super (Model) Organisms

Why do scientist study fruit flies (Drosophilia melanogaster), roundworms (C elegans), bacteria, and other small organisms? In a hands on workshop you see how model organisms such as these can be used to elucidate scientific mysteries and even teach us about us, humans!
